Therapy in nature

Nature therapy is a developing industry in Israel and is essentially a return to the origins of ancient medicine. Many countries are re-adopting this medicine.
In Japan, for example, "Shinrin Yuko" (forest bathing) is a slow, mindful walk in the forest, open to all senses,
It is a doctor's recommendation for stress prevention, and allows for relaxation and breathing.
It has been proven that this walk lowers blood pressure and cortisol levels (a stress indicator) are significantly reduced compared to walking in the city.
It has also been shown to have a positive effect on the immune system.
Nature Therapy sees nature as a partner in building the therapeutic space and process. The method was developed in Israel by Dr. Ronen Berger and sees a connection between human distancing from nature and the reduction of community life and spiritual perception, which lead to an increase in psychological distress such as depression, failure to find meaning, decreased self-esteem, loneliness and alienation. The method strengthens the person's connection with nature and through it also the body-mind connection, assisting in the processes of recovery and healing with oneself. The treatment process uses spaces and means that exist in nature. There are independent healing elements in nature that the mere presence in them and contact with them can connect the person to healing processes.

Ecotherapy is an emotional therapy method that is based on healing approaches from tribal land cultures along with advanced treatment approaches. The process takes place in nature and combines a variety of tools from ecopsychology, Native American medicine, naturopathy, art therapy, dream work, and ritual work. The process supports a deep connection to human nature, wildlife, life forces, and one's inner resources. The use of the various tools is done while listening deeply and fully to the person and their needs.
In the ecotherapy approach, we focus on the deep healing of our sense of home in the world. (Eco-home in Greek). The view of the human soul is holistic ecological, with the understanding that we are part of a whole web of interdependent life. Nature has its own rhythm, which, when learned and observed in its changes, allows the development of awareness of the cycle of life and the connection of the parts.
The Native American medicine man Frank Falls Crow of the Lakota tribe (1890-1989), known as "Grandfather," conducted community and personal healing ceremonies. One of his precise distinctions was between the concepts of "curing" and "healing." Frank observed that healing is related to healing the relationship between a person and their sense of home in the world. Healing is related to renewing our trust in life, the earth, and the natural forces that exist around and within us. According to tribal traditions, when a person has complete trust in life and their relationship to the earth,
The love for animals, plants, his ancestors, and his dreams pulsates within him with power. He is perceived as a healthy person and can be part of a healthy community.
